H1N1, Fear Mongering & Homeopathy: Safer Alternatives to the Flu Shot

By Manfred Mueller, MA, DHM, RSHom(NA), CCH

The flu propaganda machine is currently in full gear. Supposedly, the H1N1- swine flu is rearing its ugly head again. Dire consequences and even deaths are regularly reported on the nightly news. Scary enough to make you run to your local drug store and get a flu shot!

Learning From History

– H1N1 1918 Spanish Flu

The 1918 Spanish Flu epidemic was also an outbreak of the H1N1[1],[2]. During that outbreak, conventional hospitals reported around 30% fatalities[3]. We now know that most of these deaths happened because doctors prescribed, among other things, aspirin, which is contraindicated during the flu because it causes Reye’s Syndrome.[4] In contrast, in homeopathic hospitals (hospitals where only homeopathic medicines were used), 1.05% or less total fatalities were reported.[3]

The good news is, under homeopathic treatment, neither the swine flu, nor the seasonal flu are likely to be a serious threat. And, there is a homeopathic way to prevent it altogether. Read more

Swine Flu: What You Should Know

April 24, 2009 (first publishing)

We have received many calls about the latest swine flu scare. Our clients have had several questions. I will try to answer them below.
Before you read my answers, however, I suggest you read what Wesley Pruden, editor emeritus of The Washington Times, had to say about the latest swine flu “pandemic”: I will refer back to it in some of the answers below.

Q: Should I be worried about this?

A: Worry and panic during an epidemic have never benefited anyone but the stock holders of the pharmaceutical industry, and, of course, the banks that own them.
Consider the following: “LOS ANGELES, April 24 (Reuters) – The swine flu outbreak is likely to benefit one of the most prolific and successful venture capital firms in the United States: Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers,” Thomson Reuters Private Equity Week reported on Friday, 4/24/09.
Shares of the two public companies in the firm’s portfolio of eight Pandemic and Bio Defense companies — BioCryst Pharmaceuticals (BCRX.O “>BCRX.O) and Novavax (NVAX.O “>NVAX.O) — jumped Friday on news that the swine flu killed a reported 60 people in Mexico City and has infected people in the United States. Q: Do you think this epidemic is real?

A. Pruden’s article already answered this question in the negative. There is so far no evidence of an epidemic.

Q: Do you believe we are in any danger?

A. As Pruden pointed out in his article, 30,000 to 40,000 die from the flu every year. So far, as of this writing, the embedded media (= “in bed” with the pharmaceutical industry?) claims 26 deaths of 149 in Mexico have been confirmed to originate from the virus. However, the WHO says the total number of deaths from swine flu in Mexico is just 7.
The probability of dying from it in the US so far is zero.

Q: Should this turn into a real epidemic, what is the best way to protect oneself?

A. Based on published, peer-reviewed studies, a healthy skepticism of mainstream media, a knowledge of Council on Foreign Relations plans, i.e. for the creation of a North American Union and a Global Nation (necessity of trans-national cooperation), the history of the (faulty) germ theory, the real purpose of vaccination (population control), how antiviral drugs have been employed to kill millions while blaming the invented “AIDS epidemic” (see Duesberg, et, al), and using common sense and basic reasoning…the best ways to protect oneself against epidemic viral diseases:
1. Don’t panic
2. Avoid vaccines (they suppress T-cell counts, in addition they contain thimerosol and other immunosuppressive substances)
3. Avoid cell-phones and wireless radiation(cordless phones, WIFI, Bluetooth, car GPS, power company remote meters, etc), which further weaken the immune system
4. Avoid anti-viral drugs (cause suppression of and damage to the immune system).

Q: Is there anything homeopathy can to do prevent the swine flu?

A. Homeopathic immunization uses two main methods – the nosode (a remedy made from the microbe itself) and the genus epidemicus (a remedy that matches the symptoms of an epidemic).
No nosode has yet been made from this virus, and no genus epidemicus been established. However, the US Navy (that just happened to be in Mexico) found that the new virus contains DNA of Influenza Type A and Type B, Asian Influenza, Swine Flu, and Avian flu. We have a recent nosode for Influenza Mix, which is the closest match and likely to be effective. The standard protocol for administration is 3 doses daily for three days.
We will keep you posted if a nosode made from the swine flu vaccine becomes available. (update from 1/16/14, the homeopathic H1N1 30C nosode is available from our practice and from some homeopathic pharmacies)

Q: Is there anything else one can do to protect oneself?

A. Making and drinking a pitcher of freshly juiced vegetable and/or fruit juice every day gives you the antioxidants you need to help boost your immune system. Taking large doses of Vitamin C (up to 10,000mg daily, as your body tolerates) can boost the immune system. Rosemarin supplements, Echinacea angustifolia tincture (5 drops in water, 3 times daily during infection, or 1 time daily for up to 2 weeks to help boost immune system then take 1-2 week break), Astragalus and certain other medicinal herbs, and Oscillococcinum (standard protocol for administration is 3 doses daily for three days) are likely to confer some protection as well.

Q: If I get sick what should I take?

A. Homeopathic treatment is likely to be an effective treatment for any new flu-like illness. Homeopathic hospitals had a less than 1% mortality rate during the last major real pandemic -1918 Spanish Flu epidemic, while conventional hospitals had between 30 and 60% mortality rates. As always, homeopathic treatment must be individualized. If you develop symptoms contact your homeopath for a consultation.

Resolved: Psychological Trauma Produced by Car Accident

One of my clients called very concerned about her parents. They had been involved in a terrible car accident. Although they had not been hurt, not even a scratch, they were suffering from emotional trauma from the experience. I did not have a chance to talk to them directly. But my client got their symptoms as best as she could and related them to me over the phone.

Her mother had been crying incessantly day and night. They both had been without sleep for five days. Her father had also cried when he told the story of the wreck. He had lost his appetite completely and was nervous and jumpy. He felt unable to cope and also complained of a headache that caused him to vomit. They were both fearful and did not dare to get into their car to drive. They felt like their life had been destroyed by the event. Read more

Nine Years Later, Post Polio Aggravation

Barbara, a 54 year old woman, called in a crisis. She had unbearable stabbing and piecing pain in both hips and had exhausted all her options. During her follow-up consult, she talked about seeing a doctor, going back on codeine and into a wheelchair, as she had been nine years ago. “There is a black cloud hanging over us,” she sighed. She saw no alternative.

Nine years ago, I had been consulted by her for post polio syndrome. Over time, using multiple daily remedies and many clearing remedies, we had successfully gotten her out of the wheelchair, off pain medications and moving freely with virtually no pain or discomfort. She had been suffering for more than 30 years at the time she consulted with me.

After this follow-up consult I told her I had to study the matter. In the mean time, she was to take MSG 30C (a homeopathic remedy made from potentized Monosodium Glutamate, a food additive that is a potent neurotoxin), followed an hour later by Bryonia alba 30C. That evening at 8PM, the phone rang. It was Donna, sounding all choked up. My voicemail recorded the following message:

“You did it again, Dr. Mueller. I took the MSG, and an hour later the Bryonia,” she said with a voice full of emotion. “I fell asleep, and woke up, and there was no piercing pain, no excruciating pain, nothing.” She choked up. “I am myself again. Thank you…” She could not go on, so strong was her emotion, and hung up.

Subarachnal Hematoma

A few years ago I called “the doc” at the insistence of my wife. I’m a professor and I had to stop a lecture due to serious speech problems. It all started with a fall I’d taken off a scaffold 3 weeks prior where I hit my head. I felt a little dizzy after and had a mild headache, but recovered quickly with the help of a homeopathic remedy that my wife had given me.

However, when I suddenly couldn’t talk, I knew this was serious. I had it checked out at the local hospital and the surgeon there told me that he needed to do brain surgery to remove a subarachnal hematoma, which comes from blood pooling between the skull and the brain. He said it clot and has to be removed. He explained it was a risky surgery, with a high chance of side effects, but it had to be done.  I was ready to go have the surgery but my wife insisted that I call Mr. Mueller.
